On July 22nd, Nectar participated in the Milwaukie & Portland Legacy Lion’s Club golf tournament. The Nectarines who attended got to have a great time on the greens while helping support an amazing organization for our communities. Milwaukie & Portland’s Legacy Lions Club prides itself on acts of community service, such as blanket drives, and recycling drives, and they specialize in providing eyeglasses, hearing aids, and exams for both!
Their work has resulted in dozens of people in the Portland community acquiring the medical care they need, and with our support, we hope to help them increase that number! If you want to help now they offer memberships, take donations, and old glasses that are refurbished and donated to those in need. Special thanks to our Nectarines who attended to support this amazing organization. Golf is always a good time, but the chance to help others is always a better one and with that, we look forward to supporting the Milwaukie & Portland Legacy Lion’s Club further in the future.
